Hello, Ik zie dat ik op een reactie mijn 'disussie' heb toegevoegd...hier moet ik nog leren mee omgaan. Ik zit 'stuck' sinds de 2de lockdown in een lieve schattige dorp omgeving 47800. Ik zal de komende tijd veel bij mijn vader zijn om voor hem te zorgen ivm gezondheidsklachten. Ik ga ook straks helemaal in FR bevestigen maar dit gaat tijd kosten en met de lockdown kan ik niet op en neer naar NL op dit moment. Het is een groot beslissing voor mij want ik had nooit gedacht dat ik in FR zou wonen en of ik dit ook echt wil is een beetje duobo. Ik leer de franse taal, ik ontmoet ook mensen hier hoor maar tot nu toe weet de hele dorp dat ik 'vrijgezel' ben...
ik ben 53, bijna...54...ik ben ook engels. Wie weet, kom ik hier iemand leuk tegen of dat nou gewoon vriendschap is om leuke dingen mee te praten, doen ...nadat we uit de lockdown komen natuurlijk...

Hi Leslie, what a nice appeal you have made. I like to maintain my English a bit, so that's why my response is in, probably not flawless, English. It shows character that you want to be there for your father. I understand all the considerations you make and the doubts you have about settling in France. I decided to emigrate to France in 2013 for completely different reasons. But I have never regretted it and it has brought me a lot and I have learned a lot from it. But especially found my life goals. I too feel very trapped by the corona crisis, mainly boredom and refraining from unnecessary contact with people. I live in the department of Marne (51300) and I am 61 years old, but I think it would still be nice to be friends with you anyway.

Thank you for your nice message. Your english is pretty good. I have to admit after living in Holland for 35 years...my english has been a bit lost but since I am in France, and with my father, I have my english brushed up!! I am curious for what reasons you emigrated to France. bein trapped during the Covid times...it is a nightmare, especially now during the 3 rd lockdown. The 1st one was okay...everybody loved being home, learning a new situation, spending more times with love ones etc...but now...everybody wishes everything go back to normal. Well, I really do hope that we can appreciate all the small things that we didn't before the lockdown....

Altijd leuk om een nieuw contact te hebben 'in de buurt' en af en toe samen iets te ondernemen of gewoon bij te praten. Ik zit in de Lot, niet ver van Fumel. Misschien een idee om eens samen te wandelen met dit mooie weer en kijken of we verder contact zien zitten?
Verder contact via persoonlijk bericht en 'vriendschapsverzoek'?
